Sterling Silver and Fine Silver Bullion Money Clips
I’m not sure what my fascination with money clips is, but I do so love them. They are one of my more difficult items to create, but well worth the extra effort in my opinion.
I start with a sheet of spring hard sterling silver and through a 21 step process, transform it into the clip blank. From there I add the embellishments. Each of these hand crafted Money clips have heat treated to give them a nice springy action. As with any Sterling Silver money clip, they can and will bend if you force them. If they do become misshapen, simply squeeze gently just below where the bend is. The great thing about Silver money clips is the more you use them you actually work harden them so the spring tension should get stronger over time.
I have a few different styles available and as I make new designs I will add them here. The large coin looking money clips have a 1 ounce .999 Fine Silver bullion round attached securely to the front. the Sea Turtle Money Clip has s beautiful Caymanite cabochon set in a hand cast Turtle mount. The Pagoda design has a mid 19th century 1 SHU Japanese coin set in a hand cast mount as well.
